Spring Finger Painting Ideas
Finger painting is always great fun and spring gives you plenty of possibilities for subject matter.
Lambs: Finger painting creates a wool-like effect really easily.
Flower: Let your child go wild with the colors in this one.
Blossom Tree: Draw a few branches for them and let them fill in pink leaves.
Make a Daffodil
Cut out a simple flower shape from yellow card. Cut out a single cup from the bottom of an egg carton. Paint it orange. Stick it to the card.
You could also stick a safety pin to the back to make this into a badge. Perfect for Saint David's Day..
Tissue Paper Flowers
A really easy way of creating 3D flowers. Take three or four sheets or different colored tissue paper. Cut them into squares of the desired size. Stack the four or five squares and pleat them together. Fasten a chenille stem around them and open up the layers of tissue paper (being careful not to tear them).
An alternative to this is to use coffee filters. The advantage of these is that your child can draw on them creating their own colors.
